I'm gonna keep this short and sweet - Just like Jonesy! Well it is an absolute pleasure to work with some fantastic musicians
and friends. My career all started as a dream and now its reality - Cheesy I know! At 19 years old I feel like this is only
the beginning and I hope to go on and become something special. Singing is my passion. I could not enjoy my day without
doing it. My songwriting goes back to the early days of Vice Versa - My old school band. Starting in year 9, (13 years old)
I began writing songs with a friend - cheers John! Ever since I have kept on writing. I really enjoy it and I feel rewarded
when as a team we perform my songs at gigs.
Having the opportunity to perform with some superb musicians doesn't come up often and I am so grateful to
be working in a mature and professional atmosphere. So where did the idea of the band begin? Well, once James Pryce and I
had finished recording my E.P Happy Go Larry I decided it was time that I put together a band that could play what I had recorded
and raise my profile in the area, to encourage my solo career. I had some ideas of good players and I now know I could not
have picked a better bunch to do the job. We have had a fair few gigs now and I hope we can do more in the future and move
into London. This really is only a 'Project' however. This summer we will all go our separate ways and 'The Project' will
be no more :( I hope you enjoy the songs that I have written and the band have arranged. Without them this would not
be possible. We have become quite a close unit and I like to feel that it shows in our performances. Thank you to all of those
people that have helped out. Andy, Skell, Walla and Justin
- You are all legends! I really want to thank Jonny's parents too. They have put up with endless amounts of rehearsals and
fed us so much pizza! I am really grateful. The guys in the band - Skinner, you are a genius on that kit!
I love you. Sara, thank you for offering your exceptional talent into this band.x Rob, a
great friend and musician - long may we continue! Mitchel, I never doubted you - you show superb commitment
and I appreciate it - keep slapping that plank! Jonesy, you are the man! all those lifts in that micra. You
have worked so hard for this project and it shows. Lets hope we're still jammin' in September! Leo, the best
body hair there is! You are a great bloke and your keyboard playing is fantastic - Keep writing those tunes! Lauren
and Krystle I love you.
I want to thank my family as well. I am so grateful for everything you do. I am where I am because of you and your generosity
and care. Thank you to Mum and Dad for introducing me to some fantastic musicians. Lionel
Ritchie, Stevie Wonder, The Stylistics, Rod Stewart, Sade, Simply Red,
Chicago. These have all had influences on me and I remember singing their songs at the age of 4!
I hope you enjoy this website and if I have left you out - YOU'RE NOT FORGOTTEN! I hope that I will see you at our next
gig, if not then in a pub somewhere! Thanx for taking the time out to read this and make sure you buy the album when it arrives!
